CLAP - the solar beach chair

Living and working right at the seaside.

"Outwards? Well, finally!"

A dream? A fixed idea? A new freedom in nature?

What if you could do much of what you do in your office at a workplace outside in nature? And what if working in the fresh air would give you even more fun, more ideas and a broad view of the horizon?
We thought about it and developed the right product.

The product

CLAP was specially designed for outdoor work with digital devices. The solar beach chair offers sun, wind and weather protection and can easily be closed to safely store your valuables while swimming in the sea. Working in the north

  • Germany's north is known for its typical wicker beach chairs as cozy places for relaxation, leisure and vacation.
  • Nowadays, digitalisation makes it possible to work from any location.
  • The sun offers rich and natural energy, especially on longer summer days.
In cooperation with the Cluster Management of the Digital Economy Schleswig-Holstein (DiWiSH), a product concept was developed that perfectly combines all these conveniences at work:
  • A solar beach chair as a temporary workplace for the outdoor use of portable digital devices.
  • A folding function that offers protection against theft, moisture and high temperatures.
  • The sockets can be used to charge 230V power supplies, batteries via USB cable and even e-bikes.
